SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS AND SAINT CATALINA OF SIENA
SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS AND SAINT CATALINA OF SIENA
Under the magnificent choir there are two small altarpieces where Saint Thomas Aquinas is worshipped, a local work from the 17th century, with dove and silver monstrance from the 17th century; and the beautiful image of Saint Catherine of Siena, a work sent from Havana in 1779 by Francisco Brito y Leal to preside and worship her in the church of the extinct convent of Dominican nuns in this city.
